An image of a ghost caught on camera in a house where the residents have complained of ghostly attacks has been suggested as a possible proof of the existence of ghosts.
Observers claim that the picture shows the notorious Black Monk, which 50 years ago haunted the house in West York.
As shown in the image, the poltergeist was photographed where the Black Monk was said to have often stood in the building.

Pete Boulton and Rob Hughes, both paranormal investigators decided to carry out an investigation due to its shocking past.
Pete said he shot 4 photographs with one of them being unusually dark. As he brightened it up he observed a strange shape in the mirror.
He said he felt quite reluctant to share for it appeared too good to be real.
In 1966, the Pritchard family moved into the building and after a while narrated how objects were thrown around, wall photographs smashed, how they were slapped and shoved down the stairs.
According to Pete, the house was a fascinating place and quite atmospheric.
There have been numerous reports of suspected phantoms being photographed but most have been proven to be hoax.
